Here's how to decompress your neck at home
using a pull-up band. If you would like to get one, I will leave a link in the comments
section (for this exact one). Take your band, loop it around a doorknob on the back side of a door.
Close that door for a stable anchor point. From there, I'm going to lie flat on my back and have
my body in a nice straight line with this band. Take a towel, wrap it around the end and
then hook it right at the base of the skull. From there, I'm just going to scoot downward. The
more that I scoot down, the more that you're going to feel a deep pulling motion throughout the
whole neck.
Tt usually feels really, really good! I try to hold this one for several minutes but
if you need a breather, just scoot back like this. To take it to the next level, what you can do is
add in some neck movements. Look over one shoulder as far as you can, look towards the other. You can
also take your ear downward towards your shoulder. If any of those movements offer more
relief, throw more repetitions in..
